AimData ADVANTAGE Data Sync and Email Sync for ERA creates two processes that no other automotive marketing solution can offer. AimData ADVANTAGE now offers true integration with an ERA DMS. Changes made within the DMS update their AimData ADVANTAGE marketing database. Likewise, changes occurring within AimData ADVANTAGE update the ERA DMS.
Marketing from an accurate customer database is crucial in order to market effectively. So, when the customer data in your ERA DMS and your marketing efforts become out of sync, your dealership can lose valuable revenue. With Data Sync and Email Sync, when AimData ADVANTAGE communicates with a customer via direct mail, email or voice, the odds the correct street address, email address and phone numbers being used is extremely high.
Data Sync

Currently, changes made in the ERA DMS only update AimData ADVANTAGE when a transaction (RO, F&I Deal or Service Appointment) is received. AimData ADVANTAGE could be “out of sync” with ERA for months if not years until the next transaction occurs. With Data Sync, all changes made in ERA are applied to AimData ADVANTAGE nightly while all changes made in AimData ADVANTAGE are directly applied to ERA.
Data Sync will update the following fields:

- Name (First/Last/Company)
- Address (Address1/Address 2/City/State/ZIP)
- Phone Number (Home/Work/Cell)
- Follow-up flags (Mail/Email/Voice)
Email Sync

The Email Sync process uses the same platform to transmit updates back and forth between AimData ADVANTAGE and ERA. In particular, the updates coming from the AimData ADVANTAGE email append process and AimData ADVANTAGE’s tracking of invalid email addresses, unsubscribes and opt-outs is invaluable for the ERA DMS. This is information the dealership, in most cases, can’t possibly update and track by themselves. No other marketing solution can offer this level of direct, automated information sharing.
Email Sync will update the following fields:

- Primary email address
- Email follow-up flag
