ClickPath to Unveil Upcoming Google Universal Analytics Integration at SMX East




College Station, TX — September 16, 2014 — Each year marketers attend the Search Marketing Expo (SMX) East to solve challenges related to search engine optimization, search engine marketing and social media. At the 2014 conference in New York City September 30-October 1, ClickPath will show attendees how its soon-to-be launched Google Universal Analytics integration will make it easier for marketers to trace their phone conversions back to detailed search data and website analytics.

"Google Universal Analytics has made it easier for marketers to customize the data they need to optimize their marketing efforts,” said ClickPath Director Jody Huff. “Marketers are realizing more and more that phone calls are becoming one of the highest-value conversions because of the prevalence of smartphones, so we knew we needed to give them access to ClickPath call data within Google Analytics.”

The integration allows ClickPath users to push call conversion details, such as lead source, campaign, medium and keyword, to their Google Analytics account. By viewing ClickPath call details alongside Google Analytics session data, such as duration, pages visited and number of visits, marketers can delve into the type of online activity visitors engage in before placing a call.
